Where History Comes Alive in Step with the Future - Homer's New Space

Javakhishvili Square has regained a renewed space filled with old traditions and, most importantly, people working on new ideas.

Development company "Homer" opened its headquarters office together with invited guests.

The revitalization of the cultural heritage monument by the company was not only an architectural project but also a physical expression of values.

"This building is not a soulless architectural sculpture for us - it is a living symbol of how we understand development: respect for history, care for the present, and responsibility for the future," says the company's General Director, Nikoloz Medzmariashvili.

The decision for the development company to choose specifically a cultural heritage monument as a symbol of its activities was not accidental. For "Homer," it represents a choice of dialogue with the city's memory.

Careful Awakening

As the project's author and Homer's Business and Product Development Manager, Sopho Pataraia recalls that in January 2024, when they first entered the building, behind the empty walls they saw the amazing potential to bring historical tradition and contemporary reality into harmony with each other.

"We knew that this place needed not rough intervention, but careful awakening," says Sopho Pataraia.

Under Sopho's leadership, the old staircase cell was restored in the building and became a central dynamic axis. The historical window was preserved, which creates a unique play of light and shadow in the office.

Every detail preserved traditions and connected with modern functionality and the company's vision respect for the past, care for the present, and responsibility for the future. "We believe that professionalism begins with caring for what is within your sphere of influence," says the company's General Director, Nikoloz Medzmariashvili.

The Project That Continues the Dialogue

"Homer Alpha" It is precisely in this vision that Homer's new residential project "Homer Alpha" is developing, which was presented at the same event by the company's Commercial Director - Salome Lazishvili. The company's first residential project is being built in Dighomi, next to the US Embassy and the Olympic Pool.

"Homer Alpha," with its distinctive handwriting and aesthetics, will occupy a significant place in establishing new standards for the city's harmonious development and construction. This is a home where everything works, where every detail is designed to ensure the long-term satisfaction and happiness of our residents," says Salome Lazishvili.

The project's infrastructural development is planned within 7,300 square meters and includes 4 residential buildings, a green recreational zone, separate spaces for children's entertainment and pet walking. For healthy lifestyle enthusiasts, an exercise area and sports field are provided. Just a 3minute walk from the project is unique sports infrastructure including: a rugby stadium, Olympic pool, ice rink, football school, and gymnastics and basketball halls.

"Homer Alpha" will be the first residential building in Georgia whose painted facade gives the environment a completely different aesthetic and makes living here special.

Additionally, smart home systems are integrated throughout the entire project, connected to elevators, movement within the building, security, and guest reception comfort.

Pleasant Ceremony Atmosphere

The opening ceremony of Homer's headquarters took place in a warm and pleasant atmosphere - the mood of old Tbilisi and the architectural content of the space were filled with live music of saxophone and violin.

The event was attended by company partners, future residents, and everyone who contributed to creating this vision.

Guests were presented with $1,000 vouchers as gifts - for motivation and as a sign of gratitude.
